On Trend: Scallops with a side of asparagus

Kidding. This is so not a post about scallop recipes. So, I do have to admit that I did have a Jessica Simpson moment before writing this post when I wanted to confirm that a scallop was a shellfish. Yup, a scallop is in fact a shellfish, and scalloped potatoes are like a casserole-- so that's good to know.

This "On Trend" watch will feature the scallop trend in interior design. The scallop trend has seamlessly crossed over from the runway into our interior design elements ( totally expected!).

There is just something so beautiful about a scallop design. It may be the nostalgic vintage look that warms my heart, or the fact that the name of this trend makes me hungry-- I'm not really sure yet.
