An ode to Home Accessories-- Handmade
There is just something so special and exclusive about handmade looking pieces that hint-- just hint, that hard work and detail went into creating the piece.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I am blotching ( that's the act of watching TV and blogging at the same time, ha!) Anywho-- I'm blotching the Sex and The City Episode when Carrie visited Aiden at his studio. One of the many episodes where she lusted over his handmade furniture and not so much over urgh him?-- shessh. But he made furniture. He was a craftsmen--or something like that.
I found really amazing handmade accessories on Joss and Main, One Kings Lane and GuiltHome. Most of the pieces have been imported from some super amazing far-way land. Love?!
