I wonder why the color scheme / theme for New Years is so sparkly. Like, sequins, glitter, sparklers and champagne totally make out on that day. Silver and gold become one under holy matrimony on New Years. What's up with that? I kind of love how gaudy this holiday is. All we need is a little leopard print and we totally have a replica of my mom's closet going on. Love you mama! So diva!!!
One thing that I really love-- since I became one of those non-drinkers types are the bit size snacks. And what happens is you eat 1,003,893,754,343,453,658,763,223
hor dourves because the holiday isn't really an "eater-day." You know an eater-day is a holiday in which we all eat. Then after the feast, we're all what the hell does this have to do with the historical context of this day? Christmas, Thanksgiving, Fourth of July. Oh-- why don't we pig out on Easter? I think it's because the weather is warmer then, and we are all figure watching by that point in the season. Okay... I digress. Sorry folks.
