I don't know about you, but Easter is the only time of the year when I have clean and well behaved children. Wait-- I take that back because most of our Easter baskets have included some form of sticky candy madness. Other than the whole sticky hands dilemma-- and that I can deal with, my kids are usually pretty well groomed and well- behaved on Easter Day. Christmas Day-- not so much!
For some reason my 2-year old, who normally licks globs of Ketchup directly from his plate and spills his cup AT EVERY MEALTIME, is oddly calm and refined on Easter Day. He even speaks with a French accent on that day.
I think it has something to do with putting the kids in pastel colors. Light colored khaki pants, and a yellow knit sweater vest is not an ideal assemble for a rambunctious 2 year old little boy, but on Easter Day-- fuh getta bout it!
It's no wonder why Easter Day is full of photo taking for our family.
