Mason jars, are a DIY'ers BFF. From creating simple centerpieces to elaborate lighting fixtures, to vintage storage solutions-- mason jars are pure awesomeness.

My grandpa used to drink from mason jars and I remember as a kid, watching him drink ice cold lemonade f on a hot summer day, and thinking to myself how awesome he looked holding the jar. There's just something nostalgic about a mason jar.

When I came across tons of Pinterest images with cupcakes in mason jars, I thought-- hmpt!

This idea peaked my interest because I have a deep romantic addiction to cake. All things "cake-y" really. In fact, I only attend Birthday parties so that I can hoard plates of cake in my purse.

Just give me a spoon, a jar, and a couch.

Then, I started to think about how these jars could work great as party favors for a Weddings, Baby Showers, and Birthday Parties.
